Carol Hutchins - Head Softball Coach

Hutchins In her 30th season as the head coach of the University of Michigan Softball team, Carol Hutchins brings her record of success and expertise to the Michigan Softball Camps. One of the nation’s top collegiate coaches, Hutchins was inducted into the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame in 2011. She is the all-time winningest coach at Michigan. 84 of her players have earned first-team All-Big Ten honors, 15 of which were selected as the Big Ten MVP. She has also coached 42 All-Americans and was selected as Big Ten Coach of the Year in 1985, ’92, ’93, ’96, ’98, ’99, 2001, ’02, ’04, ’05, ’08, ’09, '12, and '13. Also, in 1995, ’96, ’97, ’98, 2001, ’02, ’04, ’05, '09, '13 Michigan advanced to the Women’s College World Series, winning the 2005 National Championship. In 1995 and 2005, Hutchins was named Division 1 Coach of the Year.

Bonnie Tholl - Associate Head Coach

ThollAssociate Head Coach Bonnie Tholl is in her 21st season at The University of Michigan.

Bonnie was a four-time All-Big Ten Selection shortstop and a member of the 1994 USA gold medal softball team.

Jennifer Brundage - Assistant Softball Coach

BrundageJennifer Brundage enters her 16th season as the assistant coach at The University of Michigan. As the team's primary pitching coach, Brundage has guided U-M hurlers to 12 All-America citations over her tenure.

Brundage was a member of the 2000 Olympic gold medal team and an alternate on the 1996 gold medal team as well.

Nikki Nemitz - Assistant Softball Coach

NemitzNikki Nemitz is in her third year as volunteer assistant coach for The University of Michigan Softball team. Nemitz was a four-time All-Big Ten and three-time All-American selection as a pitcher/utility for the University of Michigan.

Nemitz was a member of the USA Pan-American Qualifying gold medal team in 2009 and is a current member of the National Professional Fastpitch (NPF) team the Chicago Bandits. In 2010, Nemitz was named NPF Rookie of the Year.

Pat Brower - Camp Pitching Specialist
Local Camp Pitching Instructor, Pat Brower will serve as the camp Pitching Specialist. Coach Brower works with numerous top notch pitchers throughout the mid-Michigan area.

Other outstanding college and high school coaches from around the area will join us to provide their expertise to campers as well.
